Description:

This talk is an in-depth exploration of the various dimensions of persistent and recalcitrant pain. Specifically, we shall explore the role of anxiety, loss of control, and helplessness as key aspects of the dynamics of chronic pain. Finally, the talk will emphasize the critical role of meaning in reducing suffering and enhancing coping.

Learning Objectives:

1. To explore the deeper dimensions of pain and to provide practical guidelines for addressing each dimension 2.
