About AACP's Pro-Series:

The American Academy of Craniofacial Pain is proud to present the first Package of The Pro-Series Virtual Mini-Residency.

“Foundations I”, is the first installment in the AACP's new program.

Treatment of Craniofacial and Orofacial Pain is not a black and white process. You cannot use a cookbook approach in the analysis of the patient, or the treatment rendered as each case is unique, as will be the therapy provided.

The AACP has gathered experts in their fields to share their knowledge, virtually. This program is a didactic and self-paced online course which allows you to learn at your own pace. It is a new language above general dental lingo so please take advantage of the ability to pause the recording and re-listen when the information necessitates repeating.

This course will grant you the knowledge required to assess, differentially diagnose the majority of craniofacial and orofacial pain and sleep disordered breathing patients seen in dental practices today.

Advanced levels of information in The Pro-Series Virtual Mini-Residency will follow, through the Package called Evolutions. Evolutions will expound upon the knowledge provided in Foundations. This will include treatment options including oral appliance therapy, modalities and pharmacology for both craniofacial/orofacial pain and sleep disorders.

The research in this field has rapidly evolved over the last decade. This up to date mode of education will enable you to expand upon the care you are able to provide your patient base, leading to an improvement in their quality of life. You can make a difference.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review the basis of the development and structure of head and neck anatomy

  • Provide detailed anatomy of the TMJ and stomatognathic system
