Webinar Description: This webinar will allow the participant to understand how the technology and techniques offered through the sophistication of highly specialized laser wavelengths can provide both immediate and long-term relief from symptoms that are often not addressed through the application of more traditional techniques offered by our provider community. Instruction will be provided on how OraLase and RestOralase are utilized to address craniofacial pain, sleep disordered breathing and oral myofunctional restrictions in children and adults. Additional information will be provided on how BabyLase is implemented to either compliment or be used as a stand-alone therapy to improve tongue restrictions as well as the overall function and lives of our most vulnerable patients from birth to age 2.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the importance of the neural circuits of oral neuromyofunction, especially in the trigeminal region 2. Appreciate the relevance of the neuromuscular and fascial restrictions that often accompany and precede the need to address the oral structures commonly implicated in the dysfunctional patterns that create suffering for patients of all ages 3. Introduction to the role of trauma and its effect on oral function, craniofacial development and overall wellness
