The AACP Education Committee, and the many leaders involved in planning this year's CE event, have evaluated the comments from our members and professional community; it's clear we must deliver as we are the academy that trains leaders and their teams in this specialty field. We are now in a perfect storm; workers are at a premium and the epic number of boomers flooding the market with their chronic conditions will overwhelm the available providers.  Our studies show the common threats to the community are rising costs and staffing deficits.  Healthcare professionals are stressed and time starved. The Academy strives to meet the growing needs by providing higher education at a reasonable cost that is hybridized, efficient with time, dollars, and then provide viable resources to develop staff in this specialty field.
