David McIntosh MBBS FRACS PhD
David is a Paediatric ENT Specialist with a particular interest in airway obstruction, facial and dental development and its relationship to ENT airway problems, and middle ear disease. He also specialises in sinus disease and provides opinions on the benefit of revision of previous sinus operations. He is also passionate about Indigenous Health. He has undertaken advanced surgical training in ENT and Head and Neck Surgery and Paediatric training at Starship Children’s Hospital in Auckland, New Zealand.
Achievements include:
PhD (thesis relates to healing after sinus surgery)
NHMRC Scholarship recipient (one of the hardest grants to access in medical research in Australia)
Published in peer reviewed ENT Journals throughout the world
Presented on ENT topics throughout Australia and overseas
Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS)
Fully compliant with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons’
